Work of Life!

Ever wonder what you going to do with this car? I would not say it's a car or call it high grade box with wheels. I simply can't imagine people driving this.

We are in the country that choices is not our options in our life. An average College Graduates starting pay RM2.5K a month. With that, it can't survive without an car. If he rides a bike, thank god if he is still alive in Penang. If she... I guess.. she will be in our statistic at no time.

I will come back to your why riding a bike in Penang. But my point here is, we are not given choices. No car, like no foot that you can't get anyway. So the next thing buying a car for work.

Not much choice for a freshy. Mostly will go for national cars which highly marked up. Any average Toyota Vios in Thailand cost about RM50K and included the profit margin. In Malaysia it cost up to RM85K. Where doest the RM35K goes? Yes to the tax.

That's fine if tax needed to pay for the car.. but not much choice for us as borrowing loan from a finance company serves some interest. So if RM35K goes to take plus your loan interest about another 5K. That equals to about 40K going down the drain.

Now we haven't talk about road tax, income tax & as well as highway toll. The whole seems like the blood sucking package not for the rich only but for all.

Now I know it's been awhile since last updated my blog.

I am back with more exciting news. But bare in mind this time round it would more on critics. Recently, my reading habits has turned to automotive news, journals, jokes, car manufacturing & even car critics. I find reading auto magazines were not enough after buying them monthly.

But Malaysia this month has came out the Malaysian Edition of Top Gear. That makes it more affordable just only at RM10 from the usual RM30!

What a great news!
