Temperature Dropping It's 18 deg C outside after I put my alarm clock for 5 minutes. After I put there for another 20 minutes the reading is now 15 deg C. Wow. I got to go to buy a wind breaker tomorrow.
Friday Shopping I went to the Asian minimarket after work today. Today it's Friday. So as i finish my work early, i joined my coliqs to "Little Saigon" These are the items that I've got from there.
Erm, Jay Chow instant noodles. I wonder how does ti take like? So i grabbed 2 packs.
Jay Chow's soup.

And this minimarket has the Thai Rice. Well, that's good, now i can think of asian rice with Sunny Side Up (Egg Pau).
Surprisingly, I can find Mi Goreng, so can't resist since just so cheap. I grabbed 2 packs as well.
Normal, when in Kuching, everybody is at home, we will have longan. I guess I just have to enjoy myself for awhile in Dresden having Thailand's longan. Really miss mum's cooking specially her cha siu noodels and fried prawns + longan water.
oh of course, not forgeting the usual soya saurce that mum used for eggs and her cooking. This can cook many things. With ginger, i can cook "kio si Pork" which i learn at home.
Not forgeting Green Tea to stay healthy. The whole pack is only euro1. I get to pay 30cents per bag in the company. I will just bring some to company and hot water is free.

Ok, that's it for this time. Hope u enjoy reading my blog.

K-9 Factor In Dresden

Germans are dog lovers. These are few that consider having a better life then some people in Malaysia.

Ok liau, it's late, my big sis will complaint if i did do any updates haha. So ... hope you all like my publication this time. I din go anywhere interesting.. so not much to talk about.

Not like my colleages they went to Denmark to see the Mermaid waiting for the Prince by the sea. Ah it' just a story "Little Mermaid"
Example of Vietnamese Restaurant Good, I have a picture of Vietnamese restuarant. You can see all the interior are all crashed. You can see the coconut trees at the center and chinese lantern on the right. The the furniture doesn't match anything at all.

Fundamentally, I would like to you see how the Vietnamese surviving here. The are low educated and were adopted by Germany after Vietnam War. US took part of them and some they of them Europe took them specially Germany. They are here for less then 2 generations. You can't see the vietnamese kids go to school or mixing with those ang mo kia.

Not many things they can do to survive except doing Food & Beverages. They can't cook western food, coz the ang mo won't buy it. So they just have to go for something THEY THINK HOW CHINESE FOOD SHOULD BE. At the end, they serve oily rice, noodles & bihun to cheat ang mo. So more it's not cheap.

Not like in Malaysia, all of us cook whatever food as long as it taste good, customers will come. Like Teo Seafood, halal seafood, malays are coming.

To be very frankly, staying at our own country still the best way of survicving. I just don't understand some people just sell off everything they have and move to Ang Mo place to open an restaurant. Got good life in Malaysia dun want. Want to suffer. Basically, it is just so lonely where they really don't feel blended into their society. Even thinking of walk in the pub also feeling weird.

Anyway, we have a solution, just like what the Koreans did in Kuching, we gather at one apartment then cook and some bring some beer. So it becomes our pub. Simple.
The Best Dresden Chinese Restaurant China Restuarant ? Chinese Restaurant I guess. Tell, for ang mo, they dun car if we are chinese, siamese, vietnamese, Malays, Japanese & Koreans. We are all the same for them. So this one represent the real Chinese cooking.

So this guy in grey, our colleage introduced us to come this restuarant for dinner on Sunday night. The aunty seen in this picture is a Hong Kie. For the first time, we can use our Mandarin to order food.

Before that, for Vietnamese ownered restuarant, we jsut have to finger point to the menu like Bruce Lee ordering all the soups in France.

Hey, why are they using wedding chopsticks for us? We not attending any wedding dinner.
We are just here for dinner. But again the rice is not as good as Siam Rice. I still miss the hot rice back home.. with just some ikan bilis & peanuts.

German are very specific. If you buy a BMW, will give a manual as thick as a novel.
If they have trouble with chopstick, here is the instruction. Hey hey, holding chopstick is not by instruction, it's an art & skill. Haha.. somemore we can use chopstick to fight (Kung Fu). But I jsut don't want to show off that night.
For the fist time, I see in Dresden, it represent the pure chinese restaurant.
We don't really get a real Chinese Restaurant in Dresden except this one. The chef is a HongKie.
The usual Asian restaurant available here is owned by Vietnamese. Vietnamese, too bad, they dun speak English nor mandarin. So more, they cook the food that is not Chinese or Vietnamese.

I had enaf of Dresden Vietnamese oily fried noodles. It's used to cheat ang mo one.
Give you an example, they cool Tom Yam Gong with coconut milk, it just killed the taste of the soup.

This is Chow. He has the strongest American accent. If you don't look at him, you feel exactly like an ang mo talking. I was initially thinking.. wow.. ang mo hia.. the must be bo chap one lar.. suprisingly, he is not those like being soaked in the seawater kind of people even though he has been studying and work in States before he comes back to Malaysia. Penang borned, graduated top school in Penang, was a close friend of my tauke's brother's classmate.

So talking about my tauke's brother's classmate, whatever, a guy, doing extremely when in his studies and life from a butcher's family. So I was the whole night listen to them sharing about this smart guy now is cardiologist.. and still move on further his studies in Caltech University (Not sure get the name right), the best university in States (better then Harvard or MIT).

He loved chinese food that makes him sick staying in Dresden where he has face all the western food. That's how he discovers this place and bring me and my tauke for dinner.
Wind of Change The weather is changing really drastic. For the last few days, it has been raining all the time. See the clouds and dark sky? It was around 6:30 pm when I took the photo. Just finish the heavy down pour. Temperature is dropping as well. Night time I can get around 21 C in my room. If I open the window it can easily about 18 C.
I bought myself this from the so called 100 yen shop. In German I don't know what they call it. So it's the store where u find all the stuff in 1 to 2 euro. Now i am lighting with Jazz music.
