Hobby From a Very Young Age That's how I start to like things that running with engines. Nowadays my enthusiasm with cars and bikes never last. I was taking this photo with my mum near our home. Now I dun really remember why I am here but I do remember, there is a lady with SLR camear (black Manual camera) asking me and mum to take a photo outside. So mum I miss you. I hope you are doing OK in Kuching.

Look at my arm, it's a size of 2 inch stick. Nowadays, I hope you are proud of me and I hope I won't let you down here. My training is not easy where i need to pick up many things fast. Today we have a rainy day (mood not good, boss angry). I get to put in extra effort. Maybe later, I get to read on something with my work before I go to bed. It's 11:17pm now and it's 5:17am in the morning. I guess Dad is watching the morning news already.

So mum, don't stop me from having good car yeah? You let me admire cars without realising it.
Some more, if you can find anything special with this car. Send me a reply. I give a gift from Dresden.
2 Faces 2 worlds When I look at Christine, I always feel like she has talent in Arts next time. Hopefully she get to catch up with her studies at school. BB is helping her in the afternoon during school days.
How many of you thinking she looks somewhat similar to the picture below?

2 persons can happened to look similar in the certain way. This is Jamie Cullum that rekindled my interest back to Jazz. So he has been singing in my room since I was in Kuching, Kulim & Dresden. Infact you see my blog title Singin In The Rain was inspired by his music. He is having a tour in Germany for next few months. Wonder I got a chance to see it. The chance will be very low I guess. The nearest host is at Berlin which is 2 hours from here. So I guess I dun get to have any kaki interested with his music.
Time Flies at 2006!

SHAKE! Haha I found my memory lane again. The 4 siblings long time din have a photo together.

Warm Night In Dresden

Tonight is really warm. I am stil feeling like 27 to 28 degree Celsuis at 10:25 pm. I know that in Malaysia is 4:24am. My pc brought here never change the time zone. Part of the reason is to keep track of my family time. They are not sleeping at this moment and perhap I can call dad when I am almost time to go bed. That's about 12:00 am later.

I was told that this year has a very long hot summer. The usual situation at this time will be cooler.

Post World Cup :
Now Germany has change after the World Cup. They are more open to the outside world. Don't ever thing that this country produces the best cars in the world, there are still many east German that nver travel outside Europe for the entire life as far.

What there common perception of Asians?
Just like we group them as European. We are asians (Thais, Malaysian, Indonesian, Chinese, Taiwanese & etc). We are so called more conservative and take things too seriously.
Alright, here is the highlight
"Musi Musi" means Hello for Japanese, means women private part in German! So beware.

I am stationed with few German coliqs at a small office. The computer is in German but they manage to switch to English. However there are still special software that comes German still.

Want it or not, I have to deal with it. So that's something new I need to conquer.. other then my technical job as an engineer, I get to pick up German as soon as possible.
alle! (means everything).

Wah.. I still din get my shower. Too warm.. and not every night I get to change to use free internet. I guess this time again the office next block forget to switch off the wireless again.
Weird Things In Germany
Living alone just not going to make talk alot. There are things that I don't mention when I feel that it's weird. So You take a look and let your imagination run wild for awhile. Hehe

This one is not so bad. You see a face?
New word I learned :

Danke Sie (Thank You)
Bitte (Please or Welcome)
Bitte Warten (Please wait : which I look at my computer all the this word)

Oh yea.. if you are looking at your keyboard, the "Y" and "Z" is switched places.

So the word will be you = zou

Swiss Saxony - 1 hr drive from my apartment We are the top of the hill looking the river of Elbe. So that's more like China.
The ang mo type of Qui Lin. Again, being part of the tour is only my minor priority. Important, I get to drive around town. But we can't drive until this where it is basically controlled the number of vehicles to this park. So we parked the car outside took a bus.

There were tourists but all ang mo.. not many like us.. short asians. Looks like Great Wall.

Life could be alot harder then holding on 2 rocks. Emotionally strong has to come in first.

Well, there people who says me never change strike a posture other than holding my knees. This is photo after I just rub my nose while sitting at the steps. Over the weekend, I visited a place called Swiss Saxony. It's like their Qui Lin. Why they call Swiss Saxony .. no idea also. I was a nice walk.

So today we have an "intercultural training" everything here they put it to training and it spends company's money by hiring the exteral party to do it. So we went out of the town somewhere near a farm to have this training. So really simple stuff to learn, dun get offended by their direct behavior so at the same time they learned about us for being indirect and saying no they way.

Scenic Around The Corner

Just out of the sudden these ballons show up infront of my balcony. Actually no lar.. the city is celebrating 800 years old. This ballons just flying by. You can hear them pretty clearly when they on the hot gas to boost. I got video clips that soon you can have it from me.

My First Ride : Ford Fiesta
Remark : For car lovers, you can continue to read. For none car lovers that don't what I am talking, you can just read 1st paragraph and last paragraph.

Today I have my first ride here. This a Ford Fiesta 1.3 liter. I was thinking what? 1.3L nia. Can 'chao' boh? So I am here to pick up Hwang. Peter is taking this photo and Maz is sitting behind me. Looks like they are all laughing at me for being bit Sua Ku. Well in the name of research and arts. I will do it. Oh yea price wise, Euro 42 per day included insurance. Fuel : Benzene (Petrol lah). Our trip today spend about Euro10. So it's equavalent to RM46.

Get to see my bicep? Hehe. Hopefully i am not having to much sausages that put me extra weights.

You see is abit over size. It's good for a person to drive to work in Kulim. That's what my coliq (lady) seating behind me said. Yea.. small we have Kancil in Malaysia what no need Ford Fiesta.
My head clearance just left less then 5cm. So that's the problem I have with Ford's car.

Seat good, I like it's hard enaf to support my lumbar specially for long distance drive. But this trip, we din get to go to Autobahn. I am sure this car going to be a small chick compare with Porsche, BMW, Merz & Audi in Autobahn. We went mostly on country road. Country road that never take me home. Top speed today 110km/h. Top gear today 4th (5th gear available but never get a chance to try).

Steering pretty precise as i ever drive compare to Malaysian cars. Hehe.. tell you secretly, it's better then my Toyota Corolla. At speed, it feels pretty heavy like this car with big tyres. When corner it's pretty 'kuai' and listening to my hands. Tell you more, I am feeling abit like my driving today. So not sure if 3 of my coliqs feeling dizzy boh nia. Normally, when I am fetching up somebody, I am driving like uncle liau.

The dashboard looks pretty ok. Not much cheap plastic. Soft dashboard like the one used for Satria Neo. Functionality wise, the signal is on the left, front light is left. Booth opening with just a touch of button. Steering no audio control. But not much different of the european style. There are CD and those basic items. Today is my first time driving in Europe with manual gear. On the left you can my pants and right you can see my coliq Peter's arm.

Talk about the year shift. Well I have not be driving manual gear for a long long time. The last I am driving is Proton Iswara, Perodua Kenari & Naza Sutera. The shifting is the easiest of them all even though I have minor problem with my familirazation with right hand driving. So easy to shift.

Engine, at 1st gear very under power. I would say it's about like Naza Sutera. But when get to 2nd gear and above, things start to change. The engine best rev at 4.5 rpm above. Forget about the 1st gear, once the car is on the move, switch to 2nd at 20km/h then it's time this car perform. Rev up to 4.5rpm and reaches around 70km/h still pretty sounds ok. For 3rd gear, it's easily goes up to 100 to 110 km/h.

As the part of the journey and reasons for driving. Here we have today. The Stoplen Castle is the top of the hill as we will climb up. The style for Germany ancient king. The castle on the top over looking the township below them. So behind is the town and the square where normally all the peole gather.
What's the name?
