Valentine's Day Special

This year was really bit special. So what does Valentine's Day mean to you?
I get a chance to rephrase Valentine's Day this year 2007. It's about loving a person ALSO loving the society.

18:00 I received a sms from my colleague

" Hi guys, my gf father is currently in ICU, which condition is quite critical. He is in need of blood. If u wud be able to donate. pls call me!"

I called him right away. Then another 50km travel from Kulim to Penang Island for the blood donation.

I have some doubt with myself whether I am able to donate blood. Reason is that 2 months before, after just back from Europe (too much pork), I went for blood donation held in my company, they rejected saying my blood pressure was abit high. So the subsequent 2 months, I did something that really turn things around. Joining gym & yoga.

So this time, I got a GREEN light last night. No problem said from the nurse. Everything is perfect for a fat guy like me to drain some blood.

So at no time, I was there ready to drain out some blood. Opps.. allow me to introduce Alvin (person next to me). We work together. If you remember my previous blog about my trip to Ipoh, yea.. he is the person to bring us around Ipoh showing us the best food in town.

Why I am holding an Ang Pow? Tell you later.

So donating blood on Valentine's Day. It's not about dinner & roses.
For me it's about how you can be loving and caring to the others.

So this is the Ang Pow given by the family I went to help. At the end, it's not how much my I get. It's about how people showing their appreciation. All my blessing to them.

Last Tribute to Johnson (My Best Friend)

This is the last photo I took for Johnson at the backyard when I am just back from Germany. He was still strong. I was told by my family that he sufferred kidney failure & heart worm. They have no choice but to put him to sleep on 12 Feb 2007.

Johnson is a good dog, he did his job well. I believe all dogs go to heaven. So Johnson, I wish you all the best.
